Winter Storm Stella
Madbury, NH
Back at it here in the Oyster River district of Durham, Lee, Madbury we are plowing yet again with March 21st (Start of Spring) looming right around the corner.
Unfortunately a lot of bulbs saw the sun for the first time since summer and now have felt the power that is mother nature; leaving them wilted and frost burnt. Some will survive but the main concern is another April 1st frost like last year that left the state without Peaches and a poor Apple crop (outside of commercial growers/varieties). Fingers crossed for a peaceful transition to spring...
WMUR, our trusted source of weather is saying were going to get slammed this afternoon into this evening. As the storm is picking up at 1:15pm (3-4" as of now) were expecting to see ~16" by Wednesday morning's commute.
